Fidelity Investments invites you to our Teacher Financial Literacy Discovery Day on Thursday, August 18 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at Fidelity headquarters at 245 Summer Street in Boston, MA. Teachers will work side by side with Fidelity content experts and technologists to help develop the ideas and concepts that will create the brand new, online version of Jump$tart’s Financial Foundation for Educators program. This exciting program will help improve teacher knowledge and confidence in understanding and teaching the basics of financial literacy while providing them with engaging activities and resources for their students.
Your role will be to provide a valuable perspective on this work to ensure that the program is of the highest quality and meet the needs of fellow teachers and their students alike. You will have the opportunity to impact the lives of thousands of teachers and students in a project that is both highly innovative and vitally important to ensuring that our nation’s young people have the financial knowledge needed to become successful adults.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided as well as reimbursement for parking and travel to Boston.
If you are interested in this exciting opportunity, please contact Rick Metters at firstname.lastname@example.org or 617-563-1003 as soon as possible.
Thank you in advance for your interest, participation and support of this important effort to improve financial literacy of America’s students!
