Conference: Economics Across the Curriculum

Economics Across the Curriculum
June 20 – 22, 2017
Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis

A history class used data on babysitting wages and movie ticket prices to study inflation. A Spanish class learned about supply and demand by recreating a South American marketplace. Those are some of the ways teachers put into practice what they learned and developed at the Economics Across the Curriculum workshop.

Learn from national experts how to include economic content in your high school courses. Put the knowledge and the creative, critiqued lesson plan you develop to use in your classroom and earn a stipend.

The American Institute for Economic Research (AIER), Econ Illinois, and the St. Louis Fed offer Economics Across the Curriculum, which has content aligned to national standards and the latest teaching methods. Participants can receive professional development credit with full three-day attendance and completed online work.

This conference is free but registration is required by June 13. Register here. For more information contact Mary Suiter at
