The CEE Conference RFPs are open!

From our friends at the Council for Economic Education:

The Council for Economic Education (CEE) is now accepting proposals for its 57th Annual Financial Literacy and Economic Education Conference, being held on October 4-6 in Atlanta, Georgia.

We are seeking proposals for innovative presentations, poster sessions and workshops in the following tracks:

  • Elementary: These sessions focus on teaching economic and personal finance concepts such as choice, saving, banking and credit through English Language Arts, math and social studies in grades K-5.
  • Economics: These sessions focus on discipline-specific pedagogy used to improve economic literacy including instructional strategies, remediation support, and the use of technology; designed for middle and high school teachers.
  • Personal Finance: These sessions focus on discipline-specific pedagogy used to improve financial literacy including instructional strategies, remediation support, and the use of technology; designed for middle and high school teachers.
  • Math: These sessions focus on interdisciplinary lessons that teach personal finance and economic concepts in the context of math lessons designed for middle and high school teachers.
  • Social Studies: These sessions focus on ways social studies teachers with varying levels of economic understanding can integrate economics into their lessons or courses.
  • Research: These sessions focus on topics in K-12 economics and personal finance education research.
