From our friends at MSCPA:
As many of you are aware, the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) is continuing to train high school faculty in the Accounting Program for Building the Profession (APBP) curriculum with the expectation of resubmitting a future proposal to the College Board for approval of an Advanced Placement Accounting Course.
We received feedback from many educators in Massachusetts indicating interest in attending an APBP training this summer. Unfortunately, the AICPA is not able to add a training in Massachusetts for this summer. We have asked that they reach back out to us to plan a training for 2019.
Please take a moment to indicate which of these options might work best for your schedule during the summer of 2019, so that we can coordinate with the AICPA to choose dates for the training:
We apologize for this inconvenience but will definitely be working on offering this opportunity next year to all high school business educators that are interested. We are passionate about this initiative, and will continue to work towards the ultimate goal of having accounting passed as an AP course!
