In spring 2016, KPMG launched a new charitable initiative, the KPMG Future Leaders Program in partnership with Dr. Condoleezza Rice, focused on developing future generations of women leaders. Funded by proceeds from the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and KPMG Women’s Leadership Summit, the KPMG Future Leaders Program will “pay it forward” to future generations of women leaders by providing leadership training to top high school senior female students from around the country preparing for their college career. The KPMG Future Leaders Program will foster a strong foundation for young women to succeed in college and ultimately in their long-term careers.
The Office of Condoleezza Rice is now accepting applications for the Class of 2019. The students selected for the program receive:
- A KPMG Future Leaders Scholarship of $10,000 per year for 4 years of college
- A three-day KPMG Future Leaders Retreat the summer before their freshman year of college at Stanford University in Stanford, CA (July 14-16).
- Actively participate in a one-year KPMG Future Leaders Mentoring Program.
Attached is the complete application, which includes an overview of the program, instructions on how to apply and a list of specific criteria needed to qualify. Also attached is a letter for you, from Dr. Condoleezza Rice, the 66th U.S. Secretary of State, and Lynne Doughtie, KPMG’s Chairman & CEO, describing the vision and purpose of the program. Please share the application with your qualifying girls and urge them to apply for this wonderful opportunity.
Applications are due to the Office of Condoleezza Rice at Stanford University by January 31, 2019.
