Proposals Requested for the CEE’s 58th Annual Financial Literacy & Economic Education Conference

The Council for Economic Education (CEE) is now accepting proposals for its 58th Annual Financial Literacy & Economic Education Conference, being held on October 4-5, 2019 in Los Angeles, California.
We are seeking proposals for innovative presentations for Concurrent SessionsPoster Sessions and Research Sessions in the following tracks for elementary, middle and high school:
  • Economics/Social Studies: These sessions will focus on discipline-specific pedagogy used to improve economic literacy including instructional strategies, remediation support, and the use of technology. These sessions also include ways that economics can be integrated into social studies lessons or courses.
  • Personal Finance: These sessions will focus on discipline-specific pedagogy used to improve financial literacy including instructional strategies, remediation support, and the use of technology.
  • Math: These sessions focus on interdisciplinary lessons that teach personal finance and economic concepts in the context of math lessons designed for middle and high school teachers.
Our goal is to offer a balanced selection of workshops in these tracks with presentations by K-12 Teachers, CEE Affiliates and others.
