- This three-credit graduate course is being offered June 24 -28, 2019 at Champlain College.
Teachers who complete the training will have the confidence, skills and curriculum tools to successfully bring financial literacy topics into their classrooms. A generous grant has allowed the Center to offer this program again in 2019 (as well as in 2020). The Center’s 2011-2013 and 2017-2018 Summer Institutes have already trained 170 educators. Our programming has been recognized by the White House, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the FDIC, the U.S. Department of the Treasury and by President Obama’s Advisory Council on Financial Capability. The Summer Institute has also been the subject of two studies showing the impact of the instruction (see most recent study Prepped for Success).
On-line applications will be accepted until May 10, 2019. There are only 40 scholarships available in 2019.
