Five years ago, Treasurer Goldberg had a dream to provide every child born in Massachusetts with the tools they need to succeed. We worked together with organizations like yours to build a statewide coalition of partners, dedicated to empowering families with access to asset building programs…we couldn’t have gone from vision to reality without you!
Fast-forward to January 1, 2020, we have officially launched The BabySteps Savings Plan, a statewide program that provides every baby born or adopted in Massachusetts a free $50 deposit into a college savings account! This groundbreaking program will also provide free comprehensive financial education to every family across the state.
Now, we have to make sure everyone hears about BabySteps. This is where we rely on partners like you to engage your community by educating anyone interested in this exciting new program.
There are only three things you need to spread the word about the BabySteps Savings Plan!

- View our webinar and send it along to all your co-workers
- Order free BabySteps educational materials for members of your community from the HRIA Clearinghouse
