I am honored and proud to have an article published in the October 2018 edition of the National Business Education Association‘s Business Education Forum magazine. When asked to author an article about my mentors in the field of education, it was a no-brainer to select my parents! Both had long and successful careers as public school educators in the Plymouth Public Schools system. My mother taught 4th and 1st grade, while my father taught 7th-grade math. I still call them every morning on my way to school to talk about the upcoming day. Yes, they’re still on the “teacher” sleep schedule years into retirement and are awake at that hour! Doesn’t retirement look good on them? 🙂
